Length laboratory is a professional laboratory under the metrology and calibration division of Penney testing group. It is based on the service of geometric measurement field of manufacturing related enterprises and institutions in Beijing. There are 1 senior engineer, 1 doctor and 1 registered metrologist. With the rapid development of the integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the length laboratory is speeding up the improvement of its own measurement capacity, and further expand the high-end metrological calibration projects related to geometric quantities. At present, a number of length measurement standards have been established, which can carry out measurement and calibration work in four sub fields of end degree, angle, line pattern and engineering parameters.
At present, the main service areas include automobile manufacturing, construction engineering, satellite navigation and intelligent transportation.
