Acceptance of environmental protection upon completion of construction projects refers to the preparation of the environmental impact report (table) of the construction project, according to the "Regulations on the Management of Environmental Protection of Construction Projects", "Interim Measures for acceptance of Environmental Protection of Construction Projects", etc., the construction unit according to the environmental protection acceptance monitoring or investigation results, and through on-site inspection and other means, The activity of assessing whether a construction project meets environmental protection requirements.

The main basis for acceptance of environmental protection upon completion of a construction project includes：

(1) Laws, regulations, rules, standards and normative documents related to environmental protection of construction projects;

(2) Technical specifications for acceptance of environmental protection upon completion of construction projects;

(3) The environmental impact statement (table) of the construction project and the decision of the examining and approving department.

Procedures and contents of acceptance：

Upon completion of a construction project, the construction unit shall truthfully examine, monitor and record the construction and commissioning of the environmental protection facilities of the construction project, and prepare a monitoring (investigation) report for acceptance inspection.

If the construction unit does not have the ability to compile the acceptance monitoring (investigation) report, it may entrust a competent technical organization to do so.

After the completion of the inspection and acceptance monitoring (investigation) report, the construction unit shall, according to the conclusion of the inspection and acceptance monitoring (investigation) report, check one by one whether there are any cases of unqualified acceptance listed in Article 8 of these Measures and put forward opinions for acceptance. In case of any problems, the construction unit shall rectify the problems and submit suggestions for acceptance inspection only after the rectification is completed.

The principal part of a construction project may not be put into production or use until the environmental protection facilities for the supporting construction of a construction project have been approved. No product that has not been inspected or fails to pass the inspection may be put into production or use.
