Reach test, EU REACH regulation testing service

Project background

Reach regulation is a regulation on the registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemicals (EC 1907 / 2006), which is the EU regulation for the preventive management of all chemicals entering its market. On June 1, 2007, reach regulation was formally implemented.

SVHC detection of substances of high concern

According to Article 7.2 of reach regulation, when the mass fraction of SVHC substance in an article exceeds 0.1%, and the substance enters the EU more than 1 ton / year / company every year, the manufacturer or importer of the article must inform the European Chemical Agency.

Annex XVII restricted substances testing service

The full name of annex XVII of reach regulation is "restrictions on the manufacture, placing on the market and use of certain hazardous substances, mixtures and articles". At the beginning of the promulgation of the regulation, annex XVII included 52 kinds of substances. With the continuous advancement of the regulations, more and more dangerous substances entered the scope of annex XVII. At present, there are 64 restrictive clauses in this Annex.

■ On December 18, 2006, restrictions on 52 substances were issued;

■ On June 22, 2009, 58 new restrictions were issued to replace the original 52 restrictions; items 53-58 were added, including perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), diethylene glycol monomethyl ether (degme), diethylene glycol butyl ether (degbe), xylene diisocyanate (MDI), cyclohexane, ammonium nitrate (an); item 33, carbon tetrachloride, item 39, 1,1-trichloroethane were deleted;

■ on March 31, 2010, item 3 on substances and preparations classified as hazardous liquids was updated; item 20 concerning trisubstituted organotin and disubstituted organotin in organotin was added; item 59 on dichloromethane was added;

■ on April 14, 2011, item 60 was added to limit acrylamide;

■ on May 20, 2011, the original limitation content of item 23 on cadmium was updated and new restriction requirements were added;;

■ 2012.02.09, added items 28, 29 and 20 for CMR substances on the original basis;

■ on May 15, 2012, item 61 on dimethyl fumarate was added;

■ 2012.09.18, added item 63 on the limitation of lead and its compounds;

■ 2012.09.18, updated the original limitation on Cadmium in item 23;

■ on September 19, 2012, the fourth point of item 18a on mercury limitation was deleted and other restriction requirements were added;

■ 2012.09.19, added item 62 on phenylmercury compounds;

■ On February 13, 2013, the original restrictions of items 6 (asbestos), 16 (lead carbonate), 17 (lead sulfate) and 28 / 29 / 30 (CMR) were updated; the restriction of item 42 on SCCPs was deleted; item 47 on the test method of hexavalent chromium compounds was added; 3 isomers of xylene diisocyanate (MDI) in item 56 were clearly pointed out;

■ 2013.12.06, added item 50 other restrictions on PAHs;

■ on March 25, 2014, item 47 was added for other restrictions on hexavalent chromium compounds;

■ 2014.05.08, added item 64 on 1,4-dichlorobenzene restriction;

■ on March 2, 2015, the detection method of PAHs in item 50 was revised, and the requirements of item 51 and item 52 of phthalate ester in Article 3 were deleted;

■ on April 23, 2015, Article 6 on lead limitation in item 63 was updated, and articles 7-10 on lead limitation were added;

■ on June 23, 2016, the official journal of the European Union (EU) 2016 / 1005 amended item 6 of annex XVII of REACH Regulation on asbestos restriction clause;

■ on June 24, 2016, the official journal of the European Union (EU) 2016 / 1017, added the 65 restricted substance inorganic ammonium salt in Annex XVII, which took effect 20 days after the publication;

■ on December 13, 2016, the official journal of the European Union (EU) 2016 / 2235, the restriction requirements on bisphenol A (BPA) were formally written into annex XVII of the EU REACH regulation;

■ on February 10, 2017, the official journal of the European Union (EU) 2017 / 227, annex XVII of reach regulation officially added a new restriction on DecaBDE, which came into effect on the 20th day after the publication.

■ on June 14, 2017, the official journal of the European Union (EU) 2017 / 1000 officially added perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) as a restricted substance under REACH regulation 68, and defined the content of the substance's restriction, which took effect on the 20th day after the publication.
