Halogen detection

Halogen testing services of pony puny testing group:

Pony pony testing group can detect the contents of fluorine (f), chlorine (CL), bromine (BR) and iodine (I) in samples by using the test method.

Halogen refers to the seventh a group elements in the chemical periodic table, including fluorine (f), chlorine (CL), bromine (BR), iodine (I), astatine (at). Among them, astatine (at) is a radioactive element, which almost does not exist in the product. The first four elements exist in the form of organic compounds in products, especially in polymer materials.

Application of halogen:

At present, the halogen compounds used in products are mainly flame retardants, such as PBB, PBDE, TBBP-A, PCB, hexabromododecane, tribromophenol, short chain chlorinated paraffin; ozone depleting substances used as refrigerants and thermal insulation materials, such as CFCs, HCFCs, HFCS, solvents, organic chemical raw materials, pesticides, pesticides, bleaching agents, wool degreasers, etc.

Hazard of halogen:

Toxicity to the immune system, effects on the endocrine system, effects on reproduction and development, carcinogenesis, other toxicity (mental and psychological diseases), most halides are environmental hormones.

Relevant regulations restricting the use of halogen:

EU 2002 / 95 / EC: the use of flame retardants containing bromine is restricted;

Montreal Protocol: 5 CFCs and 3 halons are restricted;

Stockholm Convention: limiting the use of organochlorine pesticides, hexachlorobenzene (HCB), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs);

IEC 61249-2-21 (regulations for printed board materials): limited use of chlorine, bromine and total halogen;

Halogen limits:

Halogen free PCB, bromine, chlorine content is less than 900ppm, bromine + chlorine is less than 1500ppm.

Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Haidian District, Beijing, the company has developed into a large-scale comprehensive inspection and certification group with nearly 30 large-scale experimental bases, nearly 100 wholly-owned subsidiaries and service network all over the country.
